FAQs about this Beef Mince Stir Fry Recipe
How do I make this beef mince recipe?
If you love to make a whole recipe in one pan, this is the dish for you. First you add and brown the mince, followed by the garlic, ginger and veggies. While that’s cooking, you make up the easy sticky sauce with four ingredients plus water, and mix together. Pour that into your mince and allow to bubble, while getting your preferred accompaniment prepared. Voila!
What type of beef mince do I need to use for this?
I like a lean mince as it will cook more quickly as doesn’t need so much time for the fat to render out. I used 5% fat mince but whatever your taste and budget is is fine, it make just take a little longer to cook if the percentage is higher (it will be very tender though).
Could I use a different type of mince?
Turkey or chicken mince would also work really well here.
Can I make this vegetarian?
Yes, you can use a meat free mince alternative cooked according to pack instructions, adding the sauce as usual.
What vegetables can I add to this recipe?
I have used green beans in this recipe but you can add another veggie of your choice. Green vegetables go really well with beef mince, so something like peas or broccoli would be great.
What should I serve it with?
I’d recommend serving this with rice or noodles, but try your favourite out.
Can I use this for leftovers?
Yes! This would taste amazing for lunch the following day or you could easily freeze any leftovers for a meal on another day.
