Oh HELLO Bullet Journal! If you follow me on Instagram, you may have a sniff of my newest obsession in a bid to organise my life – The Bullet Journal. The Bullet Journal is a really simple system of using a basic notebook to track your tasks and plans. The thing I love about it most, is that it can be as simple or complicated, as minimalist or decorated as you fancy. For me, that sometimes changes day to day, so this planner is perfect.
Here are some photos of the inside of my BuJo (as the kids are calling it) as I’ve been using it for the last 6 weeks. Honestly, it has changed my routine so much in that time. I feel so much more on top of all of the things I juggle. I love that already I’m adapting it as I learn more about what works for me and what doesn’t.

Creating and using a Bullet Journal has become such a welcome part of my daily routine. Making time to sit and write something on paper, not stare at a screen, has been a revelation for me. It’s encouraged me to do something creative every day.
There’s also something very relaxing about the mindfulness aspect of sitting and writing or drawing carefully. I’d always been a scribbler, a scrawling note taker, bits and bobs and scraps of notes here and there. I spend so many hours tapping a keyboard, actually putting pen to paper to make something, is quite special.
You can read more about the basic Bullet Journal system here: The analogue system for the digital age.
If you’re using the same system, I’ve found heaps of inspiration on Instagram, just check out some of my planner photos for the community hashtags I use, they are brilliant for finding and sharing inspiration. Thank you so much to all of the amazing people there who share their planners there.
Have you discovered the BuJo yet?! What’s your planner of choice?
